See it in 3D, for the power of storytelling and the magic of movies!

When you take your seat in the theater- relax, you don't see the tiger for a long time, and you start a spendid adventure. It's an epic story of a 17 year old boy paired with a man-eating bengal tiger. The boy longs for a sign from God....any God.
Take the family? I'd written here Monday, that kids probably won't enjoy most of it, that they'd find it boring. many parts are very sad. Now YOU the listener have told me -it's been suggested reading for kids- for YEARS!!! That really suprises me, it's sometimes quite deep. It is quite good.
See 'Life of Pi' in 3D and be drawn into it's rich, strange, mysterious power!

Congratulations- if you won free passes to catch the new James Bond movie.... I liked it alot! The Director of SKYFALL wrestles with the notion that Bond may be past his prime- as an agent, a concept and a movie franchise. Here's a wickedly smart movie, with superb acting. As for stunts~ Bond is thankful he stumbles upon a komodo dragon, and how a crane tears away at a train, is really cool. When the closing credits roll you see the studio is celebrating 50 years of James Bond- and there'll be more to come.... that's good good good!
2 other films I've seen lately are....... "Chasing Mavericks" .....loved it. Based on true events, guys feel a connection to riding ocean waves. It's rated PG and is a nice story for the whole family. The young man in the film wrote a letter to a friend saying how he never felt he'd be on this earth long. Profound statement, you'll have to watch the movie to see what I mean. Besides the pounding waves, you follow a family through many big parts of life. It's a good story. If you respect the ocean, you'll like Chasing Mavericks.
AND...."388 Arletta Ave" ....rented it through Redbox. It's under 'Horror' ....it'll make you feel awkward. A faceless voyeur torments a young couple by using hidden cameras throughout their house. One of the best parts of JAWS is -you don't see the shark for the first half of the movie. It's the same with seeing the bad guy here. Gosh, it's disturbing!
